Probably the best mid priced Italian dining experience I've ever had. I took everyone's recommendations and got he homemade lobster ravioli, which was a great call. It came out with 6 large ravioli, a decent size for a main course, and was topped with a delicious vodka cream lobster sauce and actual large chunks of lobster - frankly much more than I expected. We had also shared a caprise salad as an appetizer for 4 of us, it was supposed to come with 3 slices of mozzarella and cheese/basil, but the waiter brought out 4 instead, saying he had asked the chef to cut them a bit thinner instead. We didn't notice the thinness, they were quite generous and yummy. Also, their olive dip they bring out with the bread is deadly its so good. The wine list is very impressive. Overall though, prices were fair, food was beautiful and delicious, and service was excellent. A definitely must for downtown RWC."

They say a bistro is supposed to be a casual place that's moderately priced, serves simple food without overly professional service.
Vino Santo Bistro: Casual? Check plus - it's freakin charming in there, and I'm not a guy who throws the word 'charming' around a lot.
Moderately priced? Considering how delicious my dishes were (I tried the ravioli+fromagi+aragosta+vodka sauce...mmmm, vodka sauce and earlier the spaghetti bolognese....mmmm, meat....) it's priced just right. You'll feel good about what you spend here.
Simple food? Simple's the best in my opinion. Keep it fresh, let the food tell its story, let the mix of flavors speak for themselves. You don't need to hide anything under foo-foo. And in the two dishes I had, Vino Santo Bistro did exactly that -- they keep it simple, you get to enjoy the great tastes.
They say you shouldn't expect overly professional service in a bistro. Well, on both visits the wife and I got warm, attentive, and professional service and great recommendations. Just fantastic.
You owe it to yourself to skip the mass production Italian food and spend your scratch here."
